Catalysts

Catalysts are substances that can cause a change in the rate of a chemical reaction without itself being consumed in the reaction; the changing of the reaction rate by use of a catalyst is called catalysis. Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF), a commonly employed technique across industries - using either heterogeneous or homogeneous catalysts - to determine heavy metal concentrations or stoichiometry and/or to quantify poisoning agents. Rigaku's technology and know-how provide a number of unique solutions for these determinations.
