Heat Source Inc offers wide range of cartridge heaters, sheathed in brass or stainless steel tubes (having medium watt density) & incoloy sheathed (having high watt density) in various diameters from 8 mm OD to 32 mm OD & 37 mm to 800 mm length. It can be fabricated in different diameters, lengths & supply voltages (from 12 to 460 volts), with or without thermocouple. It has variety of terminal types (leads, screw type or pin type). It is advisable to use high watt density heater through thyristor controller.

It is used for molding plastics, bakelite, sealing jars, plastic bags heating moulds, dies, platens, hot plates etc. It can also be used as a stud heater for shrink tightening and for space heating application, where it is necessary to concentrate heat in a confined area by inserting in closed fitting drilled & reamed holes.
