Carburising fluids, which are free of hazardous chemicals and have a long established high performance quality, are preferred for achieving best carburising results. Carburising (cyanide) salts are used for high stability and consistent results. Carburising (non-cyanide) salts are meant for start-up under neutral condition, thus providing scope for addition of cyanide to suit the concentration requirement.
