Chera Industries Capstan and second operation Lathe is designed for chuck work as well as collet work. It is ideal for manufacture of simple and complex turned parts both from bar and blanks. The blanks can be pre-turned, forged or cast. The simple design allows quick and easy setting of the machine. Standard accessories: six-station turret with indexing mechanism, single vertical slide and cross slide without tool holder, mechanical break for spindle, quick collet chucking mechanism without collet. Extra accessories: eight-station turret in place of six-station at extra cost, chuck with key, automatic threading attachment, long turning attachment, coolant pump, bar feed.
