Lustre Engineering Corporation offers Capacitor Voltage Transformer (CVT) Type-LMT 14, for outdoor applications. These CVTs cater to the dual application of voltage measurement/line protection and power line carrier communication. The company also offers coupling capacitor for carrier communication. Salient features: the capacitor voltage divider (CVD) of the CVT is made of capacitor coils with the mixed dielectric, construction thus giving high dielectric strength; the CVD of CVT is hermetically sealed with closed type metallic bellows for oil cushion on top; design stress level in capacitor part at rated voltage is kept low, thus imparting higher safety factor; the metallic bellows are located inside insulator top ensuring no communication with outside weather ensuring healthiness of bellow.
