Shiballoy Multiflex offers Cabinet Coolers. These coolers provide an elegant solution to keep dirt and smoke out of electrical enclosures in non-hazardous areas. These inside have the panel stays cool, clean and contaminant free. Non-hazardous purge (NHP) cabinet coolers converts an ordinary supply of compressed air into cold air without the use of refrigerants or environmentally harmful CFCs. Cabinet coolers have no moving parts or requirements for maintenance. The cabinet cooler is simple to install and operates under normal conditions, the cabinet cooler uses 1 SCFM of air to maintain a slight, positive pressure inside the electrical enclosure. When the thermo stat detects high temperature, it energizes a solenoid to start full airflow to the cabinet cooler, producing full cooling capacity inside the panel. NHP cabinet coolers have cooling capacities up to 2800 Btu/hr., and are suited for NEMA 12, 4 and 4X enclosures. Corrosion resistant stainless steel construction is available and all models are UL listed. NHP cabinet coolers are not suitable for explosive or flammable environments.
