BUTTERFLY VALVES


Elmec offers Butterfly Valves. It is a wafer type, replaceable-sleeved butterfly valve. Its features are: it is the most efficient general-purpose valve that is stronger, smaller and lighter. These valves are easiest to install and maintain too, and are available with complete SS 316 working parts and seating generally of nitrile or as per requirement EPDM, silicon, viton. Main advantage of using this valve is easy replacement of body seal and minimum servicing. The dual shaft disc design gives maximum flow area and ground surface of disc gives smooth operation as well as extra long life to the nitrile rubber body liner. The gunmetal top bottom stem bearing bush gives soft rotation to the stem and dual stem O-ring prevents from gland leakage. SS 316 disc, stem gives more corrosion resistance. Carbon steel MS throttle plate type flow control lever arrangement avoids the problems of lever breakage and gives the perfect 90° opening and closing. All valves are supplied after strict hydro pneumatic test. Product range: size range - 1" to 48"; end connection - centre disc wafer type semi lug type, full lug type, mono flanged end and flange end suitable to fitment between two flanges of BS 10 table D/E/F/H or ASA 150 no; material of construction - generally cast iron with nitrile body liner and SS 316 parts; optional material of construction - complete CI, CS, CF8, CF8M or aluminium bronze with nitrile, neoprene, EPDM, buna-N, silicon, viton seating arrangement; and optional operating system - manually worm gear, pneumatic/electric actuator operated, etc. Service rating: maximum working pressure - 150 PSIG; maximum working temperature - 80°C for seating of nitrile, buna-N, neoprene; 250°C for seating or silicon; 325°C for seating of viton; and 200°C seating of PTFE, Teflon.
