KGS Engineering Ltd offers isolated phase Busduct.

Construction: conforming to IEC and Indian standards; each phase conductor is housed in a separate circular enclosure; enclosure material – aluminium alloy; conductor material – aluminium alloy; insulator materials – epoxy/porcelain; continuous welded design with shorting at ends to eliminate circulating current in connected equipment; and flexible provided for enclosure and conductor expansion, contraction and absorb vibration.

Advantages: phase-to-phase fault eliminated; withstand high short circuit levels; and easy and quick installation and trouble free operation.

Busducts are used to carry current from one equipment to another. Busducts are used between transformer and switchgear; switchgear and switchgear; generator and transformer and generator and switchgear. The company is a leading manufacturer and exporter of LV busducts and MV busducts up to 33 kV and up to 6300 A. These busducts are available in both segregated phase and non-segregated phase construction. These are manufactured using latest technology; the designs conform to requirements of IS 8084 for busducts in excess of 1000 V and IS 8623 Part II for busducts up to 1000 V, and also meet the relevant IEC standards. The company also manufactures isolated phase busducts (IPB) up to 11 kV, 5500 A and 96 kA short time rating.
