Bucket Elevators

Bulkmov Engineering offers Bucket Elevators. Its main features are backstop devices, grease filled and sealed bearing housings. It consists of Head shaft with pulley for belting or sprockets for chain; The drive, gear reducer and motor drives; Foot shaft with pulley or sprockets; Elevator buckets mounted on belting or chain; Elevator casings, boot section and head section; and Platforms, ladders and hoist beams are frequently mounted on elevator housings for maintenance. Bucket Elevators are classified into 3 types based on the material discharge type viz. Centrifugal Continuous and Positive type discharge. It can be either with single or double chain or belt as the pulling member. Centrifugal discharge bucket elevators have buckets mounted at spaced intervals on engineered class chain or bucket elevator type belting. This type of elevator is used to handle bulk materials that can be picked up by spaced buckets as they pass under the foot wheel and discharged by centrifugal force as the bucket pass over the head wheel. Continuous bucket elevators have buckets mounted in a continuous manner on engineered class chain or bucket elevator type belting. This type of elevator is used to handle bulk materials where judgment indicates slow moving operation or higher capacities than available with standard centrifugal discharge elevators that are required. This type of elevators are specially used for handling lumpy, abrasive and friable materials or materials that would be difficult to pick up in the boot.
