Brushless Servoamplifiers

Brushless Servoamplifiers

Model 7427AC incorporates a resolver-to-digital converter for interfacing with resolver position sensors. It is used in tough applications (vibration; excessive temperature), where a resolver is often preferred over a digital shaft encoder. Model 7427AC de rives sinusoidal U, V, and W motor commutating commands from resolver data, also creates an analogue velocity feedback signal. The amplifier emulates encoder-formatted data, for interfacing with controllers and PLCs designed to work with encoder input. Model 7427AC operates directly from 32 V ~ 264 V AC and develops ?20 A peak, ? 10 A continuous output. It provides sinusoidal drive for AC -brushless servomotors to 2.5 HP. Sinusoidal motor drive develops ripple free torque, which minimizes variations in cutting tool force, reducing equipment vibration. The amplifier also provides resolver excitation (reference) at user selected 2 kHz e 10 kHz. Built-in optical isolation separates high voltage power circuits from the ground-based signal and control circuits. Model 7427AC's PWM frequency is 25 MHz, bandwidth is 3 kHz. The amplifier is based on carrier cancellation modulation, which develops minimum ripple current at zero output voltage, hence avoids hysteresis heating of stationary motors. It also provides excellent zero crossing linearity. Model 7427AC is used in adverse environments, where resolver position/velocity sensors are preferred over traditional shaft encoders. The amplifier drives pick-and-place systems, X-Y tables, robotics, machine tools, and automated assembly equipment.
