Copley Control's Model 5131CE servoamplifier meets EEC requirements for electromagnetic emission, RFI immunity and safety. Designed in Eurocard format, Model 5131CE also meets EEC mechanical requirements. It operates from a single-polarity 24 V - 90 V DC supply and develops ±30 A peak to ±80 V (2,400 W), as well as ± 1 5 A continuously. The amplifier develops an auxiliary output of ±5 V @ 200 mA for powering the servomotor's comutating encoder. Model 5131's 25 kHz switching rate provides 3 kHz bandwidth, elevates motor hum above human hearing range, and enables the amplifier to accommodate motors with 0.2 mH to 40 mH inductance. The amplifier uses color LEDs for status indication, and is protected against overload, overtemperature, and under/ over supply voltage. Model 5131CE energizes pick--and-place machines, robotics, X-Y positioning tables, N/C machine tools, and semiconductor fabrication equipment.
