Kerb Konus offers Brass Inserts, Mubux A. It is used for plastic components. It is designed as a pressed-in threaded insert/ stud with multiple helically geared head anchoring profile and a guide piece for easy insertion into various kinds of plastics. The S-Lok inserts/ studs have two bands of opposite herringbone knurl and a pilot end for easy insertion. These are installed by ultrasonic vibration or heat transfer. All these brass inserts are post moulded inserts and have proven following advantages in comparison to the conventional during moulding inserts: strong, clean, reusable permanent threads; no damage to expensive moulding dies; no distortion of inserts during installation; sustain high torque loads; withstands vibration without loosening; and easy and quick post moulding installation gives higher productivity and eliminate any rejection. It is used for automobile, electronics and home appliance industries.
