Thermolab BOD incubator is developed to provide temperature conditions for accelerated tests and exposures applicable for stability and shelf-life studies, cell and tissue culture, raw material and bulk product storage, plasma and blood product storage in the field of research, development, production and quality control. This equipment is manufactured as per GMP regulations and conforms to IS as well as other international standards. Calibration of the equipment can be done by ERTL (W) traceable to NPL, Delhi. The incubator has double walled construction with inside made of stainless steel and outside of mild steel powder coated, provided with best quality glasswool insulation. The equipment is complete with full view observation glass door, cooling system, air circulation, ventilators and trays. Continuous duty refrigeration system is provided to control temperature below ambient. The temperature is controlled by an electronic temperature indicator controller with digital display and Pt-100 sensor with an accuracy of &177;0.5&176;C. The microprocessor based PID controller has an accuracy of &177;0.2&176;C. The unit works on 230 V AC, single phase supply. The temperature range is 5&176;C to 60&176;C. Standard models are available in size of 3, 6, 10 and 12 cu ft, with larger sizes up to walk-in-type chambers.
