Vivid Metrawatt manufactures two series of induction heaters suitable for railway, automotive, machine tool and defence applications. These are: 1) Easy-Heat Series for the mounting of bearing on shaft by shrink fitting method, and, 2) Green-Heat Seriesfor dismounting and mounting of bearing racers and similar rotation symmetry components. These induction heaters operate on mains frequency based induced current and resultant skin heating principle. The heater can operate either in temperature control or timer mode. The microprocessor based electronic control has advanced features like in-rush current limiting, over-load and over-temperature protection and automatic demagnetisation. Green Heat series employs extra-low voltage for light weight induction coils and shock free operation.
