Bar Screens

Bar Screens

Japs Project offers Bar Screens that help protect valuable equipment inside water treatment system from the damage that can be caused by large objects that can find their way into the waste stream. These have applications as water treatment inlet screen, sewage treatment inlet screen, waste sludge screen, storm water screening and sewer overflow screen. Bar screens have several important features that help protect pollution-control system. Operational-control options: mechanically cleaned bar screens can be built to be continuously controlled or liquid-level controlled. With timer controls and liquid level controls, the bar screen is only cleaned when the cleaning is needed. Front-cleaned screens are inclined at 75° to 84°. Mechanically cleaned bar screens are factory-tested before shipment, ensuring the operator years of trouble-free operation. Design advantages: tapered bars with narrow upstream aperture capture material at the surface and reduce risk of material jamming; screen bars are inclined at about 70° to 84° to horizontal to increase effective screening area; electrical indication of overload is provided; suitable for channels substantially below grade; raking types contact the screen at an angle greater than 90° to lift screening from the bars; easy to adjust individual teeth, replacement; and the materials of construction are SS 304, 316, MS. The bar/rack/wire mesh screen moves vertically up or down in guide channels, which are fixed to the side walls of the inlet chamber. Screens have lifting lugs for lifting with electrical hoist. The side of screen have replaceable wear shoe and roller to move screen smoothly in guide channel. Other products: EOT, HOT crane, electrical wire rope hoist, clariflocculator, grit mechanism, grab, medium and heavy fabrication work.
