Instrument Control Devices offers 2 mm banana sockets. These are panel mounting type, and are designed to accept 2 mm spring type plugs like SP 5. Socket type BS 2 is one piece construction with metal threaded shell for panel mounting. Socket type BS 2/B is unique in design, which is a 3 piece construction in the style of BS 5 sockets, which is more sturdy. Insulating material for both types of socket is thermoplastic and available in various standard colours. Metal parts are brass nickel plated.
