Saturn® brand 2-piece, split body design ball valves with extended neck/stem have applications in low temperature services in refineries, brine chilling plants, etc., to support insulating/puffing and monitor atmosphere leakage. Features: long extended stem-stuffing box – gives sufficient vapour space for freezing prevention; vent hole on ball functions as pressure release device up stream to prevent dangerous cavity thermal expansion; seats – special design PTFE seats, packing and live loaded gland seals assure positive stem sealing and lower operating torque; floating ball – where sealing takes place by allowing ball to move under pressure towards the down stream seat to achieve positive tight shut-off; antistatic device – an safety feature, i.e., when static are generated and concentrated on the ball due to solvents and high velocity, the spring-loaded balls are installed on the stem which keeps continuity throughout the valve and discharges the static; blow out proof stem – top inserted with back up desig
