Trinity Energy Systems offers Automatic Power Factor Correction Relays. This is used for true RMS measurement. Extremely rugged, dependable and field proven, it is rich in features and ease of programming. Salient features: available from 6 to 16 stage control; user configurable at site for number of stages; FIFO as well as VAR option site selectable; reconnection time delay setting site selectable; bright 16 digit LC display for ease of reading and programming; "no control" mode to enable panel manual operation; built in display for volts, amps and PF; no need to set % kVAR, C/ K ratio, etc. Technical specifications: measurement system - the PF is measured for any one phase from the voltage sensed between phase and neutral and current in the same phase, using digital signal processing (DSP) methods; supply voltage - 230 V AC, 50 Hz nominal between phase and neutral; supply voltage range - 80 to 270 V AC; current - 5 A from CT secondary; output switching capacity - 5 A at 230 V AC resistive load; number of stages - standard 6, 8, 10,12 and 16 stages; target PF setting - from 0.8 (Lag) to unity in PF mode, and 0.8 (Lead) in VAR mode; reconnection time delay - settable at site, from 5 seconds to 120 seconds; minimum current - 5% of rated CT primary in PF mode, and 1.0% in case of VAR mode; mounting - flush mounted using clamps; size - 144 x 144 mm bezel, 138 x 138 mm cutout size; and depth of installation - 95 mm including terminals.
