AUTOMATIC VISCOMETER FOR FIELD APPLICATIONS
Smart Systems offers Automatic Viscometer "Smartvisc". It can be used in the laboratory, as well as in the field for finding viscosity index of lubricating oils. The apparatus can be used in online and off-line applications. The apparatus uses 40 ml of oil to be tested. It determines the viscosity of the sample at 40°C and at 100°C and calculates the viscosity index. Temperature of the sample, time of flow, viscosity and viscosity index are displayed are displayed on the in-built 20 x 4 line backlit LCD display. The apparatus is fully automatic. The apparatus can also be used for finding out the viscosity of HSD, LDO, FO, HPS, LSHS and bitumen. Applications: oil companies, private transport companies, state electricity boards, railways, automobile workshops and service stations and other consumers of lubricating oils.
