Abhi Burnishing Tools offers Automatic Recessing Tool. It is ideally suited for precision grooving, recessing, internal and external facing and chamfering. It can eliminate/ reduce the setting time and can also reduce the component machining cycle time from minutes to seconds. It drastically enhances productivity and saves time. It can machine grooves and recesses (internal/ external), back spot facing, combination of back spot facing, top and back chamfering, with exceptional accuracy and repeatability due to high levels of precision built into the head. All moving parts in the recessing heads are hardened and precision ground to ensure lasting accuracy and low maintenance. Close tolerances virtually eliminates backlash during retraction. Accurate control of groove width can be maintained and controlled by the micrometer stop. The cutter retracts radically prior to axial withdrawal of the tool from the bore. It performs recessing operation on a variety of machines such as drill press, jig boring, milling machine, CNC machine, all types of lathes, horizontal boring machine, special purpose machine, multi head spindles, rotary transfer machine etc. Special recessing heads for unusual applications are also available.
