EMS Technologies offers Automatic optical inspection system manufactured by Surftech. The SV 38H table top AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) is for SMT PCB assemblies. The twin colour cameras provide capability to inspect 0603 SMD components, AI components, optical character recognition, fine pitch QFP (0.3 mm), solderability, and axial component colour code. It can check missing components, wrong components, misalignment, component standing, wrong orientation, colour code, solder loose, no solder, insufficient solder, AI component, etc. The system is easy to use allowing user to take advantage of quality control with short learning curve.
