W Neal Services (India) Pvt Ltd (WNS) offers an Auto Duct Forming Machine, Model 1500FS. This is a state-of-the-art fully automatic coil line. The machine can perform all operations required to make straight rectangular ducts using coil stock. The machine produces flat sheet, L shape, U shape and fully folded box duct. It automatically shows default allowances for forms like Pittsburgh lock, right angle flange and snap lock etc. These allowances can be modified by the user to suit the requirement. Model 1500FS with its complete automated operation, drastically reduces material wastage, cuts labour cost and increases production. Smartly designed beading and straightening station is easy to handle and produce very precision sheet movement. The standard beading head provides 5 numbers U shaped beads. The head is powered by AC servomotor for very precision movement of sheet metal. The folding and shearing station is a compact design with an upward shear and hydraulic operated folder. The clamp beam is operated by two hydraulic cylinders. Notching heads are equipped with "V" and corner notch punches for TDC, TDF, 'C' cleat, 'S' cleat, knock on flanges, Pittsburgh and snap lock. Notching heads are operated by individual hydraulic cylinders. The 1500FS uses standard PC-PLC based control system. Sheet metal movement is controlled by AC servo motor for high precision accuracy and power. Control system: control system is housed in stand alone cabinet: PC-PLC based control system; user friendly, menu-driven system for order preparation/data input; graphical display of various shapes for quick understanding; pre-defined shapes (L/U/box, etc); selection of data input in inch/metric system; large memory for orders data; on-screen display of machine status, selected order shape; parameters, quantity finished, errors, etc; on-screen messages to help operator; AC servo drive controlled motor; intelligent program to select most optimum speed for given feed length; colour graphics (on standard LCD display); forming allowances can be defined by the user.
