These are used in CT and CVT transformers, which remove magnetic field when heavy voltages are passing through. There is lapping of perforated aluminium foil over crepe paper insulation at a particular interval. The aluminium foil is perforated under dust free, oil free and foreign particle free atmosphere in continuous roll form. The company offers these aluminium polyester foils in 410 mm wound rolls on handy cores of about 25 mtr length. These are widely used by transformer industries for manufacturing process.
