Picanol has recently introduced an airjet weaving machine, Omni-4-P 380. This 380 cm wide Omni will produce a luxury percale sheeting fabric. The fabric is woven in double width, with each part having perfect tucked-in selvedges. The asymmetrical cam motion and the backrest with positive easing motion contribute largely to the fine fabric grain. The machine has separate servo let-off motions for each warp beam. A new feature of this percale machine is that it weaves with double pick insertion. This makes it easy practically to double the output of the machine.
