The Technovation Series 97 microprocessor based air quality portable monitor is offered in any one of three separate ranges, each suited to a specific application. It works on a rechargeable, maintenance free battery or on mains supply. Single or multiple gases can be measured depending on the users" gas measuring requirements. Either range A or B or C is to be specified by the user. Range A is suitable for flue gas monitoring. Range B is suitable for ambient air monitoring while range C is suitable for air quality monitoring where best resolution is desirable. The monitor is compact and versatile with a built-in data logger. STEL and TWA threshold limit values can be displayed from storage when required including peak values. The 16 x 2 alphanumeric wide angle viewable LCD offers good readability for date, time and level of measured gas and serves to navigate through the different menus accessible via the three keys for simple easy and user friendly operation. Series 97 offers a facility for interfacing to an IBM compatible computer for down loading of stored data via a RS 232 port. It also has a "centronics port" as standard to connect to any external printer, thus economising cost. Internal pumps under microprocessor control, which is standard or through manual operation can either, do gas reduction.
