Mann and Hummel India specialises in the manufacture of air filters, oil filters, fuel filters, cabin air filters and other filters. The ENTARON XD series of air filters for construction machines, agricultural machines, gensets and compressors are characterised by a robust housing and element design. The housing is made from plastic reinforced with fibre-glass. The clean air port and threads are additionally reinforced. The main filter element is equipped with a high performance medium to enable a maximum dust load and long service life. The main element up to the ENTARON XD 28-32 is fitted with a robust plastic centre tube and a spiral wound glue strip. For flow rates higher than 40 m3 per minute, stability is maintained by a metal centre tube. The glue strip fixes the end pleats of the filter element in a defined position. It prevents the pleats sticking together and enables a high and uniform dust load over the whole of the main element. At the same time the spiral wound glue strip serves as protection against improper handling.
