Ahmedabad-based C Doctor & Co offers turbine type air exhausters and blowers, manufactured by Industrial Machinery Manufacturers, in collaboration with Sturtevant Engineering Company, UK. These exhausters and blowers are designed and engineered to produce suction from 50 mm-300 mm (2 to 12 inches) mercury, and for air delivery at pressures from 1 to 8 PSI (70-550 millibar). Motorised assemblies are available from 1 to 100 HP. As a key feature in Sturtevant vacuum cleaning and pneumatic conveying systems are constructed for continuous duty, every day, year after year, and require no adjustments or replacement, minimising the need for maintenance. The many other applications include gas blowing and boosting, powder aeration, liquids agitation and cooling and driving.
