Hindustan Radiators and Heat Exchangers, designs and manufactures a wide range of water-cooled Air-Coolers (CACW type) and air-cooled Air-Coolers (CACA type) for large electric Motors and Generators. These include different makes like Crompton, Jyoti, BHEL and import substitute motors and generators, etc. These air coolers find use in power plants of 1 MW to 1000 MW capacity, chemical plants, cement industries, sugar mills, tyre plant, etc. Specifically designed and developed wire wound finned tubes are used in the cooler, which are superior to crimped spirally wound tubes due to high surface ratio and air turbulence generated by wire fins. The company offers to design air coolers to any size and configuration for Indian as well as imported equipment as per customers’ requirements. The air coolers have been developed to conform to international standards.
