Net Safety's Flame Watch provides the valuable integration of an Ultra-violet (UV) or Multi-spectral (Triple IR) flame detection unit and an explosion proof video camera that delivers levels of safety, security, and performance you can trust.
The Ultra-violet (UV) detector option reacts to the UV radiation found in hydrocarbon fires, delivering accurate and reliable fire monitoring. It even detects hard to see hydrogen, ammonia and sulphur fires. As an added advantage, the UVS does not react when exposed to incandescent or fluorescent lighting, heaters or sunlight - so false alarms are considerably reduced.
The Multi-spectral (TripleIR) flame detector option reacts to the IR radiation found in hydrocarbon fires, and is immune to hot body radiation, lightning, arc welding, and sunlight. Designed with three optical IR sensors, it will only alarm when inputs from the three IR wavelengths are satisfied. In addition, it is programmed with our unique Automatic Digital Zoom (ADZ) technology, so the data processed by the detector is the most precise and complete possible. The three IR sensors, our ADZ technology, the user selectable sensitivity, and the time delay setting extend detector range ad provide unparalleled false alarm immunity.
The durable colour video camera delivers a composite video output for use with most VCRs or video monitors. The wide viewing angle provides for large area coverage by one camera.
The Flame Watch's two components come standard with explosion-proof housings. As a result, the Flame Watch provides integrated security and performance required for high-risk industrial installations.
