Beacon Industrial Electronics offers AC Tachogenerators. These have standard output of 1 V AC per 100 RPM and have an operating range of 0-6000 RPM of the actual rotation without any ratio involved. The output voltage can be decreased or increased depending on the customers" requirement. These tachogenerators are also used by paper, plastic, textile, sugar, fertiliser industries; oil and gas and shipping sector as well as the Indian Navy. The tachogenerators are available in different mounting arrangements such as flange mounting, direct mounting, base mounting, pedestal mounting as well as other custom designs. They can be used to drive analogue or digital tachometers, which would be used to display the speed. They are rugged in design able to operate efficiently even in temperatures up to 60°C and humidity of 95% Rh.
