Crecim Industries Pvt Ltd offers wind driven Roof Ventilator – “Vientoâ€. As the name implies, this is a ventilator installed on the roof of the industries/factories, warehouses, schools, residential buildings, etc., which operate under the natural flow of the wind. The ventilators are designed to operate at the slightest breeze and create effective ventilation. The effectiveness of the ventilator increases with more number of side openings to the enclosed area beneath them as this creates an air-circulation inside the house. It further increases with the wind speed, more the speed of the wind the faster the ventilator rotates and exhausts more quantum of trapped air from beneath.
How it works: Sun rays heat the air inside buildings, and as a natural phenomenon hot air always rises to the top and if there is no vent in the roof it builds up heat at the roof and gradually penetrates down into the building and eventually the temperature of the entire house increases; when a turbine ventilator is installed on the roof, it operates at the slightest available breeze that flows on the top of the shed; during rotation the centrifugal force created draws the risen hot humid air in the turbine towards the spinning vanes and out of the turbine thereby creating a low-pressure area; this low pressure area is immediately replaced with air from below which in-turn is replaced by fresh air from outside through the other openings of the building, giving rise to ventilation.
Advantages: Electricity free cooling, renewable energy usage; hottest air is exhausted first; enhances the life of the insulation, roofing sheet, rafters, etc; zero operating cost; provides pleasant working environment in all-seasons; and increases the performance of personnel.
