Pathak Industries (Kol), an SSI Unit, offers Medium Duty Lathe Machines. The bed and all casting parts are manufactured in a modern foundry. The bed is made from Grade A castings 2-V and flat type, hardened and ground bed ways. The head stock body is of latest specially design induction hardened and ground spindle of special alloy steel. All centrifugal running parts are well balanced. A four walled closed type with oil bath apron and Norton gearbox is used, having best quality gears. Sliding and surfacing feeds can be engaged by tightening a star knobs and engaging lever at appropriate position. Tail stock is hexagonal shaped body. The tail stock spindle has external and internal grinding with MT-4 internal taper. It can be off set for taper turning. Standard accessories: safety guard; motor rails and V pulley; change gear set; switch stand; thread dial; square tool post; dead centre; and spindle sleeve. Extra accessories include: steady and follow rest; face plate; true and dog chuck; electric motor and starter; Norton gearbox; coolant pump; rear tool post; taper turning attachment; quick change tool post; and tool post grinder.
