Induction hardening solutions from Electronics Devices are a result of years of research and development. For an application of induction hardening of annulus rings for earth moving machines, the client faced a problem as desired hardness, case depth, hardness pattern, were not all being achieved at the same time. The pieces were cracking. The company provided a solution after making a thorough study of the component and conducting trials. Right capacity and frequency of the machine was selected. A special coil and quenching arrangement were designed. A 250 kW/10 kHz equipment was supplied. Thorough trials were conducted and 100% desired results were obtained. Equipment supplied: 250 kW/3-10 kHz.
