Box Culvert

  • Concrete boxes find application in several different areas for culverts, retention tanks, vertical vaults, utility corridors and storm water drains, industrial waste and sanitary sewerage.
  • They can also be used for underground walkways and transportation of goods and services.
  • Culverts can be either wet cast or made using dry concrete and vibrated into place; they are made with a tongue and groove and are joined together either with a gasket or a sealing compound to make a leak proof joint.
  • Forms are modular in construction and can expand from 1mt x 1mt to 6mt x 6mt; the design also allows for variation in each wall
  • The box form displayed is for dry cast concrete and has been awarded a patent by the United States Patent Office.
