- These machines are suitable for testing material like adhesives and tapes, rubber, wood, plywood, plastic, resins, ceramics, teflon, cardboard, latex, composites, ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals
- Used for testing on different shapes and forms of material like round, flat, thread, wires, dumbbells, fabric, belts, strips and ropes, etc.
- They are provided with various grips, attachments and special fixtures for a variety of materials and shapes; it also has a continuous roll auto graphic ‘load vs elongation’ recorder and an elongation scale with least count of 1 mm
- There are three measuring ranges for accurate testing at different straining speeds available for proper selection
- It is a machine with AC or DC drive motor available; there are various other models available with a maximum capacity from 200 N to 50 KN; it has loading accuracy within ±1% and conforms to IS: 1828/BS: 1610
- It has a hand operated cutting press with different sizes dies available for cutting dumbbell specimen.
