Pulveriser

Laxmi Engineering & Manufacturing Works provides pulverisers incorporating rotating hammers and grinding plates for pulverisation. The main body (grinding chamber) is made out of CI and provided with replaceable beaters that are mounted on the main shaft made of alloy steel. The feed hopper feeds the rotary feeder pockets with raw material that is finally taken to the grinding chamber. The lumps are broken into small particles and the air stream blowing through the pulveriser carries the ground material towards the outlet. The over-sized particles are rejected by the whizzer classifier and returned to the grinding chamber. Fabric type dust collector keeps complete pulverising operations free from dust. The pulveriser capacity varies between 50 and 200 kg/hour (fineness of 100-250 mesh), depending upon the material fed. Bauxite, china clay, calcite, chrome, coal, gypsum, limestone and mica chips are the different materials that can be ground.
