Ball Mills

Techno Designs manufactures Ball Mills in Different styles – jacketed, batch and non-jacketed batch, and non-jacketed – for the powder grinding as well as wet grinding for different materials as diverse as minerals for the pigments. Ball mills are resourceful grinding equipment as well as utilised by the minerals, pigments and paints industries. The company has focused in manufacturing for continuous ball mills for different applications. Ball mills are available in following configuration: air swept; end peripheral discharge; and central trunnion discharge. These ball mills are fixed with different type of liners. The cast metallic liners are bolted to the shell and ends. The steatite and high alumina liners are fixed bug epoxy/ white cement to the shell. The mills are with main welded shell section and with cast feed discharge section for large diameters and fabricated section for small dia/power mills. The mill heads for mills above 300 HP are in cast steel and they are flanged bolted to the mill shell. The bearings used are cylindrical roller bearings for main shafts, which gives maintenance free operation for years. The drive unit comprises off electrical motor, main gearbox girth gear and pinion with pinion shafts.
