The Newkem Construction Division Team is a group of technocrats with firm belief in quality, speed and effective cost control, and capability to can execute projects from conception to reality. The company, a pioneer in the insulation and passive fire protection industry entered the civil and steel construction industry in 2002 after a catastrophic earthquake, and completed a project in a record time of 100 days. It has not looked back since then and extended its project portfolio to include stadia, temple infrastructure, dams-barrages, residential houses, PEB warehouses and factories. Structural steel is the new material and technology, which has recently entered the Indian market. Newkem is a firm believer that steel frame construction is the future of the construction industry. It has advanced machinery and trained manpower by international organisations to cater to the steel construction technology in India, and can provide solutions for: erection of steel structures; roof and wall sheeting; roof and wall insulation; anti corrosive, protective and decorative coatings; specialty floor coatings; and fire protection for the structural steel.

The genesis of Newkem began in 1954, when it introduced Calcium Silicate as a thermal insulation system for the first time in India. With more than 50 years of successful operation, the company has expanded to develop expertise in varied divisions with its aim to become an innovative solution provider for the construction industry.
