Plate Heat Exchangers

Zeuzer Engineers India offer Plate Heat Exchangers. This is a state-of-the-art technology based ISO 9001: 2000 certified company, committed to serve the dairy, food and beverage industries through tailor made solution to product requirements and through quality assurance. Zeuzer PHEs are used for various applications in dairy, food, beverage, brewery, winery, edible oil, chemicals and pharmaceutical industries. These are used widely for heating and cooling, recovery of heat, pasteurization and sterilization in industries, i.e., dairy industry: heating and cooling of milk, cream, ice-cream mix, yoghurt, pasteurisation of milk and cream; beverage industry – heating, cooling and pasteurization of fruit juices, beer, wine, non-carbonated soft drinks, syrups, etc; vegetable oil industry – heating and cooling of vegetable oil; sugar industry – heating and cooling of cane juice; and pharmaceuticals – cooling of recirculatory DM water. Construction: the supporting frame for the PHE will be of self-supporting design. Frame and pressure plate can be painted/powder coated or clad in stainless steel as required. The PHEs are provided with multi bolt tightening design to uniform pressure on all parts of the heat exchangers plates. Changes to processing conditions can be readily accommodated by changing plate arrangement by adding or removing plates easily. Gasket materials commonly used are nitrile, EPDM, butyl, silicon, viton rubber ensuring complete sealing and preventing cross leakage between the product and service liquid. Sanitary type gaskets are continuously bonded to the PHE plates thus ensuring complete segregation of the process fluids. The high quality gaskets are fitted into the PHE plates by using adhesives/adhesive free systems. Connection: product and utility connection with SMS, IDF, DIN standards. Plate material: plates are mainly available in stainless steel AISI-304/316 quality.
