Heat Exchangers

Bhandari Foils & Tubes P Ltd offers Heat Exchangers, which are made from welded austenitic stainless steel. These products comply with the requirements of ASTMA-240 in grades 304, 304L, 316 and 316L in general; other grades such as 310, 321, 304H, 316H are manufactured against specific requirements. The OD range is 9.52 mm to 101.60 mm, thickness range is 0.6 mm to 3.0 mm and length range is maximum 14 metres. The tube is manufactured from cold rolled, annealed SS coil on continuous forming tube mills using TIG welding process under inert atmosphere. Subsequent to welding on mill, the weld metal is cold worked by bead rolling. All tubes are then annealed to a minimum temperature of 104°C, straightened, end finished, picked and passivated, tested and marked. Tubes are also drawn on draw benches whenever customer demands heavy cold working or closer and smooth ID. They go through tensile, reverse bend, hardness, flattening, flange and hydrostatic pressure tests which are mandatory and other optional tests such as pneumatic/air leakage, eddy current and IG corrosion.
