FRP Cooling Tower, Bottle Shape

JC Equipments offers a range of FRP (fibreglass reinforced plastic) Cooling Towers. The Round Shape FRP cooling tower is also called bottle shape cooling tower. The casing and basins are designed to withstand severe vibration, high wind load and to resist corrosion. This cooling tower consists of honeycomb PVC fills and eliminators in a design that maximises economy and efficiency; and a directly driven fan and motor for minimum drift losses. There is uniform distribution of hot water by a rotating arm sprinkler. Hot dipped galvanised hardware withstands the wind forces. The bottle shape makes it possible to provide maximum cooling efficiency in minimum plan area with lower energy consumption. General description: the cooling tower casing is made of selected grade materials of FRP and resins. Additional embossing is done for extra strength. FRP casing and basins are designed to withstand severe vibration, high wind load and to resist corrosion. Water basin is completely leak proof, which avoids spillage and seepage of water. Honeycomb PVC fills are used for extended contact area having high heat transfer efficiency. The crossing of air and water streams in close proximity, which creates diffused turbulence conductive to evaporation and efficient heat transfer. Special low RPM totally enclosed motors of vertical, flange type with enlarged and treaded shaft and sealed top is supplied with the cooling tower. The motor is also weather proof and in IP-55 construction.
