Polyethylene Rods, HDPE/HMHDPE

High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and high molecular high density polyethylene (HMHDPE) rods are extruded at Agpha Rubber & Plastics. HDPE rod is more rigid and harder than low density materials and is three times better in compressive strength. It is lightweight and has excellent impact resistance. It also offers high tensile strength and low moisture absorption. HDPE is easily fabricated and machined. Features and benefits: excellent chemical resistance, good fatigue and wear resistance, resists organic solvents, degreasing agents and electrolytic attack. Sizes manufactured: round – 25 mm to 130 mm dia. Established in 1981, Agpha Rubber & Plastics specialises in manufacturing of round and square rounds of various engineering polymers. The company also extrudes welding rods made of HDPE (natural and black). The standard size is 3 mm and is supplied in coil form.
