Indore Composite P Ltd offers Long Fibre Reinforced Polypropylene, RePlet PP. This is chemically coupled thermoplastic polypropylene (PP). These grades are characterised by a fine balance of rigidity and toughness, high-HDT and other mechanical properties. They are also available with high impact, high stiffness and excellent burst strength and in required colours with value added functions like FR, HS, UV, etc., as per the application requirements. The glass content can be varied from 30 to 50%.

A perfect balance between rigidity and toughness, superior aesthetics and low weight makes RePlet a suitable alternative for metal and high cost engineering polymers in various applications including:

• Automotive – front end module, sunroof rail, door module, foot step, battery case, mirror brackets, etc
• Fluid engineering – pump body parts, industrial valves, filter housing, RO systems, etc
• Electrical – meter box/housing, handles, enclosures, etc
• Other structural applications – office chair base, arm rest, cable tray, etc

The material should be pre-dried at 80°C for 2-3 hrs to avoid moisture related problems. The recommended processing temperature is around 220 to 250°C.
