Butyl Rubber Sheets

Butyl rubber is made by copolymerising isobutylene with small amounts of isoprene. Low gas and moisture permeability; high resistance to ozone, weather, abrasion, tear, flexing, heat ageing and chemical attack; excellent insulation performance; and high shock absorption are among the properties that have made butyl rubber the polymer choice in a variety of applications. Seals, gaskets, extrusion components, sponge, footwear, mechanical goods, automotive spring liners and floor mats are the components produced by this elastomer.
