Kindly brief us about your company
Warpp Engineers was formed in the year 1994. Initially, the company concentrated on repair and service of welding and plasma cutting machines along with supply of consumables for those machines. As we moved forward, we started manufacturing welding & plasma cutting machines. Today, we have a manufacturing unit in Vasai wherein around 3500 welding & cutting machines are being manufactured.
How do you see the performance of your company in 2021-22 compared to 2020-21?
It’s a good year & business has been gradually increasing.
What were the key takeaways for you due to Covid? What changes have been brought about in your company and in the industry due to the pandemic?
The biggest change is the online platform. We have started having meetings with our team members, channel partners & customers through the online platform.
How is the demand for your products & solutions? What distinguishes them from those of your competitors?
The demand for solutions is increasing. Warpp are known as solution providers. We are not just manufacturers of machines; we are basically solution providers in the fabrication industry.
What new products & solutions have you introduced in the market in the last 2 years? Are there any plans to launch new products in the near future?
We have many products like handheld plasma cutting, mechanised plasma cutting, upgradation in the manual SMAW, GTAW & GMAW Welding Machines, to name a few.
Did you develop & launch any new products & solutions during the Covid pandemic?
We developed handheld & mechanised plasma cutting machines.
What are the key challenges faced by your customers today? How is your company helping them overcome them?
The key challenge in the fabrication industry is availability of skilled workers. We are bridging that gap by providing welding & cutting special purpose machines (SPMs).
What are the emerging trends in your industry?
Automation is the big emerging change in the fabrication industry.
Do you think the government initiatives like Aatmanirbhar Bharat, PLI scheme, re-definition of MSMEs, etc will benefit the industry?
Yes, we can see the change in upcoming months.
Automation is a buzzword today. How is your company adopting automation?
We are also adopting a few automation processes wherein our components are manufactured faster.
