Mumbai, October 1, 2024 – Excitement is building as the 10th India Construction Festival approaches, set to take place on October 9th and 10th at the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai. This year’s event is particularly noteworthy, as the highly anticipated RAHSTA Expo has officially sold out, reflecting the tremendous demand and interest from industry leaders and innovators.

The RAHSTA Expo, now completely booked, will feature over 100 exhibitors and is expected to attract more than 5,000 visitors.

The festival will serve as a pivotal gathering for top figures in India’s construction sector, showcasing groundbreaking advancements and fostering critical discussions on the future of infrastructure in the country.

The event’s agenda includes the RAHSTA Conference and the 22nd Construction World Awards on Day One, followed by the RAHSTA Awards and the 12th Equipment India Awards on Day Two. The expo will also host over 50 expert speakers, providing invaluable insights into road construction and sustainability.

RAHSTA, which stands for “Roads and Highways Sustainable Technologies & Advancement,” emphasises the latest innovations in road construction equipment and sustainable practices. Organised by the FIRST Construction Council, this expo is set to be a dynamic platform for collaboration and transformation within the industry.

Key exhibitors include major industry players such as Action Construction Equipment, Caterpillar, SANY, Wirtgen, Volvo, Terex, Zydex, Steel Authority of India, Ultratech, JSW Steel, and many more. Their participation underscores the expo's significance as a premier venue for networking and strategic partnerships.

As industry leaders from companies like L&T, AFCONS, Tata Projects, and IRB Infrastructure come together, the 10th India Construction Festival promises to be a landmark event for the future of construction in India.

The 14th RAHSTA Conference will feature seminars and panel discussions with notable speakers including Anil Gaikwad (Managing Director, Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation), Brijesh Dixit (Managing Director, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation), Deepak Garg (Managing Director, Sany India), Ashish Kumar Singh (Chief General Manager – National Highway Authority of India), Sudhir Hoshing, CEO, IRB Developers, Dr Zafar Khan, COO, Highway Concessions One, and Lt Gen Rajeev Chaudhry (Former Director General Border Roads Organisation), among others.

The Construction World Global Awards, known as the Oscars of the construction industry, will take place on October 9, 2024, recognising India’s fastest-growing companies in construction and manufacturing. Awards will be presented to L&T, Kalpataru Projects, AFCONS, ITD Cementation, DRAIPL, NCC, HG Infra, Ceigall, Ramky Infrastructure, J Kumar Infraprojects, IRb Infra, Ashoka Buildcon among others.

The Equipment India Annual Awards, now in its 12th year, will be held on October 10, 2024, followed by the RAHSTA Awards. Awards will be presented to Caterpillar, Tata Hitachi, Action Construction Equipment, JCB, Schwing Stetter, Ajax, Doosan, BEML, Case, Ammann among others.

Leading up to the festival, two RAHSTA Forums were held on April 9, 2024, in New Delhi and August 30, 2024, in Mumbai. These forums, attended by industry leaders such as Vipin Sondhi (Chairman of the RAHSTA Expo Committee) and Sandeep Singh (Managing Director, Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery), set the stage for the expo and attracted significant attention from the construction sector.
