The Tamilnadu Energy Development Agency (TEDA) will organise RENERGY 2013, a comprehensive and productive renewable energy event at the Chennai Trade Centre in Chennai from May 9-11, 2013. The primary objective of event is to facilitate faster adoption of renewable energy across all sectors of industry and society. The event will witness six workshops on solar power, buyer seller meet, State nodal pavilion and many product launches.

The previous edition, in 2012, witnessed the most successful renewable energy events in India. Based on this success, TEDA is leaving no stone unturned to make the 2013 edition a watershed event. The event happens at a time when the solar power sector all over India, and especially in Tamil Nadu, has picked up momentum, making this a highly anticipated event. This event also provides excellent opportunities for companies through its exhibition, sponsorship opportunities, networking and workshop sessions at the conference. The Government of Tamil Nadu has launched one of the most ambitious solar policies in the country, with a vision of 3000 MW of solar power by 2015. The state is the leader in wind power, with an installed capacity of over 7200 MW, of the total of 18700 MW all over India.

The exhibition will have over 250 exhibitors, comprising companies in solar, wind, biomass, waste to energy and energy efficiency. It will feature innovative concepts such as dedicated product launch pads, sector-wise networking pavilions and more.

RENERGY 2013 conference, the largest in India with an expected 2000 delegates, will for the first time in any Indian renewable energy conference comprise workshops, detailed networking sessions and expert sessions.
