What are the products that you offer?

We offer cable drag chains, hi-flex cables for moving applications, way wipers, telescopic covers, chip conveyor systems, and enclosures. In short, we supply every thing around the machinery for its protection.

What are the applications?

The application of our products is for protecting and conveying the cables in the machinery in the case of cable drag chains, cleaning and protecting the guideway in the case of a wiper or conveying of the chips or scrap from the machine.

These are standardised parts yet customisable with superior design futures and detailing; Kabelschlepp on its part has many patents for the products they manufacture demonstrating clearly the technological superiority and innovation. In fact, Kabelschlepp invented the cable drag chain in 1954.

How strong/effective is the after sales service?

Many of our products do not require servicing as they have replaceable wear parts and can be replaced easily after the life of the wear part alone. However, we have a team of customer support engineers who support our customers in selection of a suitable product for its intended application and guide them throughout the life time of the product.

How does the cost of ownership over the life cycle compare with competition?

Our products are designed and manufactured for heavy loads and long life, in many cases our products outlive the original equipment it self; hence the cost of ownership is very negligible.

What is the Company's history? Kabelschlepp was founded in the year 1954 in Siegen - Germany after the invention of steel cable drag chain in the year 1953 by Dr Waninger under the leadership of Dr Oskar Waldrich of the famous tooling machine company Waldrich-Siegen.

The company started its Indian operations from August 2006 as a 100% subsidiary of the mother company, Kabelschlepp GmbH.

Since April 2010 Kabelschlepp is part of the Yen 120 Bn Japanese company Tsubaki, after it acquired a 100% controlling stake.

What are the company's achievements?

Kabelschlepp India Pvt Ltd is a very young company and just completed 3 years of its operations in India, though it was founded 55 years back in Germany.

In the short time we are in the market we could make a difference in the customers' buying experience and committed pre and post sales and services.

We are 100% suppliers to almost all the machine tool and material handling equipment companies in India.

Any breakthrough product launch that made a difference?

In fact, our invention of cable drag chain itself was a breakthrough and that made a difference the world over creating a separate segment in the industry for the manufacture of cable drag chains and at least a dozen players are there in the market.
