Companies around the world are focusing more and more attention on industrial cleaning technology. This is substantiated by visitor numbers, which rose by roughly 18% at the 9th parts2clean at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 25 to 27 October, 2011. 237 exhibitors displayed their wares at the leading trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning, which drew a large number of visitors, as well as concrete RFQs and prospective orders brought along by the expert visitors from 49 countries.

With 4779 visitors (an increase of 18.1% as compared with last year), the 9th parts2clean set an all-time record for visitor numbers at the internationally unique trade fair. Expert visitors journeyed to the event from 49 countries on all five continents. 18.4 per cent of the visitors came from outside of Germany. With 237 exhibitors, this year's leading international trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning experienced an increase of roughly 7 per cent. The exhibiting companies from 15 countries presented products and services covering the entire process sequence on 65,000 square feet of net exhibition floor space (160,000 square feet of overall floor space) (4.5 per cent growth).

"parts2clean is now well established and is becoming more and more international. In addition to visitors from the German speaking countries, we also had visitors from Hungary, Poland, England, Brazil, Turkey and Singapore at our booth, and they brought along concrete problems that have to be solved. parts2clean has gone very well for us this time too, and we'll exhibit again in 2012 in any case", reports Karl-Heinz Schoch, director of the cleaning technology business division at Elma - Hans Schmidbauer GmbH & Co. KG. Nearly all of the exhibitors arrived at similar conclusions.

For example, Dr. Uwe Anton Schubert, global area sales manager at D?rr Ecoclean GmbH, was also very satisfied with the way things went at parts2clean: "On the one hand, we took advantage of our trade fair presentation to introduce new products and to exhibit our broad ranging product portfolio. On the other hand, we set ourselves the goal of refreshing business relations with existing customers and establishing contact with new companies, and we succeeded in both areas in a well-balanced fashion."

A further aspect was also important for Hakan G?lecy?z, export manager at the Turkish company Everest Elektromekanik: "We see all of our competitors here, and that's a very good thing." Daniel Fisch from the marketing department at Reinhausen Plasma GmbH, who participated at parts2clean for the first time this year, also drew a positive conclusion: "We had visitors at our booth from the optics and automotive industries, machinery manufacturing and other sectors with concrete micro-cleaning requirements, and in some cases they even brought their workpieces along with them. We were able to provide visitors with information about cleaning solutions with plasma at atmospheric pressure and fielded lots of RFQs. We're glad we exhibited at parts2clean."

Vivi Yde Laursen, project manager for sales and marketing at the Danish company DST KEMI A/S, was also enthusiastic: "It was a great trade fair for us, and we picked up significantly more and better leads than we did last year. We also received orders from customers who bought a cleaning system, and want to fill it with our cleaning agents after it arrives." Bill Breault, market manager for US cleaning agent manufacturers Petroferm, also achieved all of the goals he had set for himself in Stuttgart: "We were able to establish excellent contacts with users, got to know some potential sales partners and intensified our relations with cleaning equipment manufacturers."

The 10th parts2clean will take place at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 23 to 25 October 2012.
