What are the applications?

Any process application having a liquid requires our instrument to automate the process. Our instruments are designed to sense the level and give the necessary control commands as per requirements of the end user.

Why should the customer opt for these?

Liquids being a very critical element in process applications, wastage of liquids calls for high losses. Automation of the same would curb all such losses and reduce wastage in process plants.

How strong/effective is the after sales service?

We have an all-India Sales network; our products carry one-year warranty against manufacturing defects and workmanship.

How does the cost of ownership over the life cycle compare with competition?

Cost of ownership requires brand commitment. We are one of the oldest players in level instrumentation in the Indian market. Level Instrumentation requires the best understanding of the customer requirement and customisation of the product as per his requirement.

Competition in this field is comparatively low compared to other sectors of instrumentation as this requires excellent engineering competence in production of the final product which is a tedious and time consuming affair in Industry.

What is the Company's history?

Established in the year 1987, Shridhan Automation has been consistent in level switches and allied instrumentation. The company has grown from a 500 sq.ft office and assembly to a full scale production/assembly/marketing company with a facility of 12,500 sq.ft. The company started by catering to the hydraulics and lubrication equipment. Now, it caters to various industries such as food process, shipping, water and waste management, pressure vessels, oil and gas etc. Quality products and timely delivery has been the forte of our business.

What are the company's achievements?

As mentioned earlier, we have managed to build a new, spacious facility with 12,500 sq.ft of operating space. ISO 9001: 2000 and the recent ISO 9001: 2008 have been the major Quality Certifications that we achieved.

Approvals from major technical consultants and PSUs are a clear indication of our product range quality. 10-15 % of our sales turnover is contributed from exports to various countries such as USA, South America, Europe, New Zealand, UAE and Saudi Arabia to mention a few.

Any breakthrough product launch that made a difference?

Magnetic Level Indicators, which are used in level monitoring of liquids in high pressure vessels and critical applications, have been refurbished and has been set new design standards comparable to international competition.

How is the present business environment?

Present business environment is good. Growth seems to be major and driving factor post recession. Orders keep flowing and the delivery commitments are very high, which shows a positive trend of the market.

What are the future plans?

To be the single source in liquid level instrumentation for any application. We have plans to enter into level sensing and control for solids. We are also envisioning getting into flow sensing and flow metering for the process industry.
